Bars and Night clubs in Dahab

Dahab has some good places to go out and have some fun, but if you come for the Ibiza style party with trance music and crunching extacy tablets you came to the wrong place. Its fun to go out here and you will meet people from all over the world.

If you are here as a tourist or you are a new Dahab resident here is a list of what you can find and where you should be. We all welcome you and hope to see you out there.

There are many bars i did not list here, but these are the most profiled ones.

Rush

Rush is a very nice looking place once you get inside. The beer is not the cheapest in town, but it is still ok. It is situated in the center of Dahab right next to the bridge. The place plays a lot of electronic music and is most busy on Fridays that is the big rush night in town.

The interior is newly redone and is looking stunning. They serve food if you were to be starving between the beers. On Sundays they have karaoke night for those who like to sing songs more then listen to songs. They have a small pool inside where you can sit and its frequently used after midnight when the alcohol percent in the crowd is increasing.

Good place for a Friday, open till around 4AM.

Yalla bar

Yalla bar is a local bar that is popular between the locals, the beer is fairly cheap and they serv food. Its right down on the Lighthouse and you have a panoramic sea view from the balcony and the beach restaurant. Plays good rock music and have an occasional Quiz show usaually advertised on the board outside.

A brown bar that looks good and has good service. The food is good and the restaurant is usally busy in daytime. They have no special day that are busy, but it is a busy place in general. This is a good place for conversations and have no dance floor in sight for the guys who are worried about getting dragged up from the bar stool.

Red Sea Relax

This is my personal favorite bar, they have the cheapest beer in town and good service. They also serve food that are good and very cheap. It is part of the Red Sea Relax resort and is managed by a British man who takes good care of his place.

This bar does not have a dance floor, but they have something better they have a Nintendo WII on a projector that is really fun to play if you have the guts to get up. Its usually a quiet place, but its nice and you can sit and talk. Red Sea Relax is a good place if you are not out to party, but just want to relax after a long day with a nice cold cheap beer.

Has no special days where it all happens, it can be empty and it can be full, but its always a nice place to be.

Tree Bar

Tree bar had the most expensive beer, but after a it backfired they reduced the price to a normal level. This place is most busy on Tuesday. Its a big Club in Dahab standards, but is not that busy except Tuesdays.

The place is really good looking both inside and outside, big dance floor and sitting are inside. It is very popular amongst the wind surfers that all gather up here on Tuesdays. They got lots of pool tables and they are of high quality. It is a good place if you go out on their big day and you just like to dance or play pool, not a place for a conversation.

PS : This place does not treat locals well. They beg locals in the street in low season and kick them out in high season.

Furry Cup

Furry Cup is a good down to the ground English pub that we all like. They have good prices on the beer and brilliant food to go with the beer. The music is great and it looks cool inside.

They have different areas to drink and chill out. They have a beach bar with swings around the bar, the inside area with nice posters and pictures and and outdoor area with a swimming pool when you need some fresh air.

One thing i really like about this place is the toilets and its not because they are so clean. Its because they have hilarious reading material. This is a good place any night of the week, but its quite a bit to walk if you want to get there. Nice atmosphere, best music and good prices.

Mojito

A new place in town that is basically a place for people who wants to dance. The beer is a bit high priced and the location is not that good. Its right down in Dahab center, but you need to enter through a side alley and its a bit hard to find. The place looks good inside thou and they obviously put alot of time and effort into this place.

Like i mentioned its a new place and might need some time to get their name out there. They get occasional groups from outside of Dahab. We will see in time what will become of them, but we wish them good luck.
